I love the feeling you get in there. Warm greeting, and warmer feelings when you enjoy the spice of their delicious dishes. I normally only get to eat leftovers that my family brings home, but it is definitely worth the time to eat there.

This is my new favorite place for delicious, authentic Indian food! My daughter found this hidden gem when she did a google search so we decided to check them out. They gave us a complimentary Chai as soon as we were seated, which was a lovely touch. I ordered the Chicken Tikka and Garlic Naan. It was delicious! The owner and his lead chef came out to greet us and asked how we liked the food. That made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of chairs and tables. It's close to Oceana Naval Base which is the perfect place to go for lunch during the work week. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. I'm definitely going back!

This place truly serves the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. It’s a hidden gem that never disappoints. The butter chicken with butter naan is a must-try—rich, flavorful, and comforting. The samosas are impeccable—crispy, perfectly spiced, and always fresh. They’ve also started serving mocktails recently, and they’re amazing—super refreshing and surprisingly creative. We got the pins colada and one with a lychee twist. So good. We dine here so often it’s become a ritual. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors with a modern touch.

SO GOOD! We went because we love Indian food. This place did not disappoint. The buffet runs every day 11-2:30. Lots to choose from. Super fresh. Clean inside. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good price point to. I ate my weight in Biryani for 20.

This delicious restaurant is hiding a little ways past the Amazon on Harpers Rd. It's easy to get to, just take the turn a little slow and there's two entrances. Inside is a welcoming red color. Pretty big and it has a bar! They're still waiting on the liquor license as of March 7, 2025. The staff is really friendly and kind. They know their menu well. Your food will be delivered by a cute robot if you dine in too! I tried the vada, which is little lentil fritters/donuts. The one I got came with sambar and three kinds of chutney. They all were really good and I was surprised how soft and fluffy the vada was. It was full of veggies. I could of eaten two orders. They were also bigger than some others I've had. I am very fond of vada. I also tried their gongura curry, which is from South India. It was dark and rich. It tasted great with the rice and I liked the leaves in, and the other texture. It's supposed to be a little sour, but it wasn't prevalent. I also tried their hakka noodles, I was surprised it was a big portion! It had lots of meat and the noodles were soft and easy to eat. I took most of that home and I'll let it get spicier in the fridge over night. I will be back here. Food and everything was great. Fast service too. Easy to pay with portable POS at the table. South Indian food is the spiciest in the region, they go mild, medium, medium hot, spicy, and Indian spicy here.

I came here with my family & friends for dinner. We ordered Indo chinese dishes and they were really delicious. But the best part was the service and the hospitality of all the staffs including the owner ofv the restaurant ( Arun). He, Arun, ensured that we got the best of the service with his warm gestures and made us feel really comfortable. We loved everything here and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to have good time good food n amazing service

I recently visited akshaya where I tried the goat soup, tandoori chicken, few type dosa and goat biryani—and it was a flavorful and heartwarming experience. The goat soup was a standout starter: rich, aromatic, and full of depth. The broth was perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of spice and warmth, and the tender goat pieces made it hearty and satisfying. The tandoori chicken brought bold, smoky flavors with a beautifully charred exterior and juicy, well-marinated meat. It was served sizzling hot and paired wonderfully with mint chutney. What made the experience even better was the incredible hospitality. The staff and owner were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their warmth added a personal touch that made the meal even more memorable. Highly recommended—for both the food and the people behind it.

Food service and quantity, all were just great .. we were at VA beach for 2 days and we came back to eat here both the days.. highly recommended.. and the other advantage is that it’s open till 12am. Added are pics of some of the dishes we tried, punugalu, Guntur chicken, goat dum biriyani, tawa fry fish, onion masala rava dosa.. we also tried egg Hakka noodles and gobi Manchurian.
